About Hoʻohua Early Learning Organization

HELO's mission is to support families
HELO's mission is to support families on the Waianae coast with early education services for children 2 to 5 years old. Our program, spaces, and curriculum are designed with a focus on nurturing students to kindergarten readiness emotionally, socially, and intellectually. We believe that all children have gifts to share with the world, and our goal is to help them develop the curiosity, confidence, and foundational academic and social skills to fulfill their potential as young learners
Student's connection to the community
Our program is also focused on honoring and strengthening our student's connection to the community, local culture, and the place where they live. Aloha for each other, mālama for the ʻāina and for each other, and kuleana for our community are all concepts that we will share and practice with regular activities and experiences with teachers, guest instructors, and field experiences.
Native Hawaiian owned business
HELO is a woman-owned and Native Hawaiian owned business. Our team has deep experience in child care, early child education, and service to the Waianae Coast. We are passionate about contributing to the education ecosystem on the Waianae Coast to ensure that ʻohana in the area have the support needed for their children to thrive.
